Min Yu

Dear all,

If you're interested in mentoring in the spring, please submit your project proposal by the end of this year. If you can't meet this deadline, you can consider summer and/or fall terms instead. Please see additional details below.

Kind regards,
Min

Dear ELISA community members,

If you're looking to mentor new ELISA contributors/developers and have a well-defined project in mind that would contribute to the overall mission of the ELISA Project, please submit the project proposal via the form below:

Mentorships are offered Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. Please go to https://docs.linuxfoundation.org/lfx/mentorship/mentorship-program-timelines for the detailed timelines for each of the terms.

All ELISA mentorship project proposals will need to be reviewed and approved by the TSC, so the project proposal needs to be submitted 2 weeks before we list the projects on the LFX Mentorship platform to accept mentee applications. So for the upcoming Spring Term, below are the dates to remember:

Spring Term
Project proposal due: December 31
TSC review: 1st two weeks of January
Mentee application period: mid-January through mid-February (4 weeks)
Mentee selection and acceptance: last 2 weeks of February
Mentor and mentee working period: start on March 1, 3 months for full-time mentee, 6 months for part-time mentee

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Min
