Upcoming ELISA Events - Please Mark Your Calendar and Plan to Register to Attend

Dear ELISA members and community,

We've been busy planning for fall events and have the following details to share. Feel free to share these ELISA events in your network as well.
  • ELISA Summit, virtual, September 7/8th 
    • The ELISA Summit will offer an introductory overview, more in-depth content, emerging trends, and hot topics in using open source software in safety-critical applications.
    • This event is open to any and all who are involved or interested in defining, using, or learning about common elements, processes, and tools that can be incorporated into Linux-based, safety-critical systems amenable to safety certification. 
    • Attendees will hear directly from those leading or actively involved in the various ELISA working groups to get an overview of their achievements, current focus and activities, and plans for the future.
    • This is also a unique opportunity for those in the open source and safety communities to exchange ideas, perspectives, and updates to strengthen the foundation for closer collaboration–to close the gap between functional safety and open source development velocity.
    • Please submit a talk here if you're interested in speaking. Note that the CFP is open now through July 31st. Event website and registration will open next week.
  • ELISA Forum, in person in Dublin, September 12th
    • If you're going to Open Source Summit Europe in Dublin please add ELISA Forum as a co-located event to your registration. 
    • Philipp Ahmann at Robert Bosch GmbH will give an overview of the ELISA Project; Gabriele Paoloni at Red Hat will lead an interactive session to apply the System-Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) methodology to a sample use case. 
    • Both Philipp and Gabriele will be on hand for Q&A afterwards.
    • Refreshments will be provided.
  • Additional ELISA sessions, September 15th during OSSEU
  • ELISA Workshop, in person in Manchester UK, September 19-20, hosted by member Codethink: This will be an in-person collaboration opportunity for active ELISA contributors and members to have interactive discussions on predetermined topics and side-by-side working sessions. More details will be shared in the coming days.
