SOAFEE virtual symposium

Hi to all, Today and tomorrow there is a virtual symposium (free, online) led by SOAFEE (Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge) SIG. Their mission: "The initiative intends to deliver a cloud-native architecture enhanced for mixed-criticality automotive applications with corresponding open-source reference implementations to enable commercial and non-commercial offerings." Worthwhile to attend to learn first-hand about this initiative. Our good friend Jeffro brought this to my attention, and will be presenting. Regards Elana |

Hi Elana, all,
Here is the link for the registration: https://soafee.io/blog/2022/virtual_symposium/ SOAFEE also has a mixed-critical workload orchestration tiger team which meets every other week. You can find the SOAFEE calendar with all meetings here: https://soafee.io/community/calendar/
I do not see too much about functional safety really happening there so far. Please correct me, if someone knows it better. It seems to be a good place for collaboration and bring a bit of additional drive to ELISA. I am following some of the activities based on systems WG and encouraged the discussion with SDV and SOAFEE also during the last ELISA workshop.
Best regards, Philipp --- Robert Bosch GmbH

The SIG focuses on the technical aspects rather than functional safety. It is indeed a good place for collaboration.
